Melissa did the sculpt for Schlock out of non-drying putty. Then she, Howard and I cast the sculpt in resin so that we could reproduce it. So far I've only made two of them (this and another that Melissa painted). The sculpt is not terribly detailed, but in that it matches the style of the comic rather well.
